Liz and Jack Gritter

Executive Director and Board President

The Gritters are passionate about equipping students for HIS purpose. Liz and Jack have been involved in student ministries for over 20 years as part of Northland Church and other Christian ministries in Central Florida. From leading retreats, participating in student camps to organizing and leading community service projects, the Gritters’ heart is to reach youth to help and equip them for a life lived for Christ. They have led over 22 student mission trips to Haiti, Kenya, and Ukraine between the two of them. They have also taken students to the Passion Conference in Atlanta, Georgia for the past four years.

Jack is the founder and president of Trinity Mortgage Company, Inc. in Lake Mary, Florida. Liz served as a commercial property appraiser and a director of property management for 20 years in Florida and Georgia. They have three grown sons, five grandsons and one granddaughter.

  • Nichole Gordon

    BOARD VICE-PRESIDENT

    Nichole started with Life Prep as a mentor in 2019. She is a new board member of the Life Prep Ministries as of this year 2026. Nichole has been married to Danny Gordon for 31 years. They have 2 grown kids and one 11 year old at home.

    In her free time she likes to play tennis and travel whenever possible. She is also involved in youth ministries at Northland Church as well as a leader in their Women’s biblestudy group.

  • Kim Koi

    BOARD SECRETARY

    Kim Koi has been in ministry with college students for over 25 years with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. She has been teaching a session for Senior Life Prep since the early 2000s, and has a deep desire to see high schoolers transition well into their next season. She joined the Life Prep Ministries board in 2020.

    Kim lives in Daytona Beach, and enjoys being close to the water. She loves to travel, hike in the mountains, and read. She joined as a driver for her first Epic Trip in Spring 2024, and might be hooked for life.

  • Marianne Elkins

    BOARD TREASURER

    Marianne has been working with students for over 25 years in Jacksonville and the Orlando area.  She has a desire to see them grow into a deeper, authentic relationship with Jesus.  She has been a part of LifePrep as a mentor since 2023, when her oldest daughter was a part of the program, and is excited to join the board this year.

    Marianne and her husband, Dan, have been married for 22 years and have 3 children.  They love going to Disney, playing board games and having friends and family over to their house.  

  • Brian Katauskas

    BOARD MEMBER

    Brian Katauskas has built his career around understanding people and building strong relationships.

    Today, that focus drives his work at The Collage Companies, a Florida-based design-build and construction management firm, where he helps connect the company with the communities and clients it serves.

    Before entering the construction industry, Brian spent over 20 years in pastoral ministry, leading teams, building community, and working closely with people from diverse backgrounds. That experience developed his strengths in active listening, relationship building, and leading with integrity, skills he now applies directly to business development.

    Brian holds a Masters in Biblical Studies from Reformed Theological Seminary and a Bachelors in Business Administration from Palm Beach Atlantic University. Outside of work, he loves to golf, he is a certified scuba diver and holds bareboat cruising and sailing certifications.

  • Geoff Hensley

    BOARD MEMBER

    Geoff Hensley is passionate about helping people and organizations turn vision into meaningful action. Much of his career has been spent serving the Church, including his time with YouVersion and working alongside churches across the country to embrace technology as a tool for ministry and connection.

    He has a deep passion for student ministry and believes the Church has an incredible opportunity to invest in students during some of the most formative years of their lives. That passion is what drew Geoff to Life Prep Ministries and its work of equipping students with a faith of their own, a sense of purpose, and a foundation for life beyond high school.

    Geoff currently serves as Head of Growth at Whiteboard, where he brings together strategy, creativity, and technology to help organizations grow and make an impact.
